My research and areas of expertise are primarily related to migration, inclusion and working life, with a particular focus on migrant women’s participation in the labour market and the intersections between the welfare state, labour market and individual aspirations. I also have expertise in belonging, identity and everyday life, and in how experiences of migration are shaped through encounters with institutions and wider society.These themes are also central to my ongoing PhD research, which explores migrant women’s experiences of work and labour-related activities in Norway.
