Important information about the submission itself

In connection with submission, it is important to be aware of the following:

Time for submission
Set aside plenty of time for completion and submission. Submission should not be done at the last minute. It is your responsibility to ensure that technical equipment and WISEflow function as they should. Technical errors that are not due to third parties do not provide grounds for an extended deadline.

Checking the submission
Once you have submitted, you should check that the correct version of the assignment has been uploaded. You can upload new versions of the assignment as many times as you like until the submission deadline. It is the version that is in place when the deadline expires that is considered submitted.

Publication in the National Academic Archive
If you want the assignment to be published in the National Academic Archive, you must tick the box for this when submitting. Publication requires a grade of C or better.

Downloadable cover templates

The master's thesis must have a cover page. You can use one of the downloadable cover page templates, or create your own cover page.

Routine for registration, deadlines and submission (applies to all master's degrees, except GLU)

Routine for registration, deadlines and submission (applies to primary school teacher education only)

Illness or other valid absence

In case of illness or other valid absence close to the submission deadline, or in case of prolonged illness during the semester, the submission may be postponed.

Privacy in the master's thesis

Before submitting, you must ensure that the thesis does not contain personal information in violation of the regulations. This applies in particular to theses based on interviews, surveys or other material in which individuals can be identified.

Publishing the master's thesis in the National Archive of Scholarly Works

NLA encourages all students to publish their master's thesis. By publishing, we mean making the thesis and any attachments openly available in the National Archive of Scholarly Research Data (NVA). The thesis will then be searchable and downloadable for everyone. This means that it can be read, downloaded, linked to, and cited in accordance with good practice. All other use, such as uploading to places other than NVA, must be agreed upon with you as the author of the thesis.

In order to have your thesis published, the following must be in place:

· the thesis must have been passed and have a grade of C or better

· the thesis must not contain confidential/strictly confidential information

· you must check the box for approved publication when submitting the thesis in WISEflow
