Get started with EndNote with this introductory course. The goal is for you to be able to use the program immediately. Learn how to create your own library, add your own references and insert the references into Word. The course is a combination of demonstration and “follow-along”.

The course requires you to bring your own PC/Mac, preferably with EndNote already installed.

Installation files are available via SharePoint.
Log in with your Feide account (studentnummer@nla.no) for access.

Unsure how to cite correctly in academic assignments? The goal of this course is for you to gain an understanding of source usage in academic writing, learn correct source referencing, and become familiar with resources for source referencing.

Strengthen your own awareness of artificial intelligence. This course will give you a better understanding and use of language models, prompt engineering, and good and bad uses of AI.

Are you looking for academic literature? Learn about relevant databases, learn how to use simple search techniques, conduct searches, and document the search process.

The library organizes Sit down and read/Shut up and write.

Here you can work on writing or reading together with others. We also offer help with academic writing if needed.

We use the pomodoro technique:

45 minutes of quiet work, then a joint break for 15 minutes, then writing for 45 minutes and so on.

The library provides a mobile hotel and snacks.
