National Science Archive (NVA)

In the National Science Archive (NVA), scientific publications and other research results are collected nationally for accessibility. You are responsible for ensuring that your research results are registered in the NVA. The library can assist with training and guidance in its use, and you can request help with registration directly in the NVA by pressing the ‘Get help from curator’ button.

My page and ORCID

On ‘My page’ you will find your researcher profile, as well as an overview of all results and projects associated with you. Sikt's guide for My page can be found here. To be able to see the researcher profile and make changes, you must be logged in and have an active employment in an NVA institution.

NLA encourages all researchers to create an ORCID profile. Read more about ORCID here (link in text). See Sikt's guide on how to easily link your researcher profile in NVA and your ORCID profile.

Register results in NVA

To be able to register a result in NVA, you must have an active employment with an NVA institution. You will then see the '+ New result' button at the top of the page. Sikt's guide for registering results in NVA can be found here, under ‘Researchers and administrative staff’ and ‘Register result’.

It is important that NLA's employees upload full-text versions of their results where possible. The library is responsible for assessing whether the files can be made available in NVA.

Register project in NVA

To be able to register a project in NVA, you must have an active employment with an NVA institution. You can register a new project, or link a new result to an existing project. Sikt's guide for registering a new project can be found here.
