AI, Big Data and Harmful Online Behaviour: Insights from SOCYTI on Ethical, Legal and Social Dimensions
ARINA SEMINAR Invited contribution to the Research Council of Norway's learning and networking arena for responsible and radical innovation within the Technology Convergence portfolio. Together with project leader Professor Rajendra Akerkar (Vestlandsforsking) and Professor Sule Yildirim Yayilgan (NTNU), WP2 leader, I was invited as WP1 leader to present and discuss how AI and big-data methods in the SOCYTI project can be combined with social science approaches to better understand harmful online behaviour, including online hate speech.
