Semester Programme in Intercultural Studies
NLA offers a semester programme in Intercultural Studies at campus Sandviken in Bergen, Western Norway. The programme is offered in the spring semester which starts mid January and ends early/mid June

About the semester programme
The semester programme consists of three bachelor-level courses.
Each course includes weekly lectures and seminars in which students are encouraged to discuss and reflect on key issues related to diversity, conviviality, religion, transnational processes, and Human Rights.
The seminars are research-based, practice-oriented, and student-centered. Through lectures, case studies, and group work, students explore how theoretical perspectives can be applied to real-world contexts.
Students enrolled in the Intercultural Studies semester programme will join second- and third-year courses alongside NLA’s full-degree bachelor students. The language of instruction is English.
