Assignments and continuing education

We accept assignments for professional presentations at your theme day or other events. This can range from making a single presentation to planning the entire event with you.

We contribute with updated knowledge on current topics and dissemination adapted to your context.

We can collaborate with you on short courses or longer continuing education programs.

Example of continuing education:

For a large regional company with geographically dispersed offices, we conducted a longer continuing education program based on one of our further education programs. Some of the company's employees had already completed the further education program, and these contributed to the planning group together with representatives from the company's management and academic staff from NLA University College. Over 18 months, employees from the company's various district offices met five times, for common professional content, and reflection across workplaces. After each meeting, each of the offices followed up by solving case assignments together. Afterwards, each time two of the offices sent their proposed solutions to NLA's university college teachers, who gave them direct feedback on these, and then used the work in a joint review at the following meeting. The client applied for external funds, and was given the opportunity to extend the work with a new period.

NLA University College collaborates with both public and private enterprises to offer credit-bearing continuing education programs that are relevant to society and working life.

We can develop new self-funded open continuing education programs based on initiative or dialogue with you in the field, and we conduct externally funded continuing education programs for specific groups represented by a client.
