NLA offers a semester programme in Global Journalism on its campus in Kristiansand, Southern Norway. About the semester programme

Students will study together with NLA's full-degree master's students in Global Journalism. Exchange students can attend the autumn semester (from mid-August to mid-December), and/or the spring semester (from early January to early June).

The language of instruction is English, and you will meet students from different parts of the world. The Nordic Media course in the spring semester includes a voluntary study trip to Denmark (additional fee).

The teaching is organized with an intensive introductory lecture week at the beginning of each course, followed by weekly classes. The courses are taught one at a time, meaning that one course finishes before the next one begins.

Please note that the programme does not focus on practical journalism or reporting techniques, but on theoretical study to reflect critically on the role of journalism in contemporary society.

NLA has been a great experience for me. Some of those good things is the interaction with the lecturers that has been so profound.
