The visit gave the Department of Teacher Education a valuable opportunity for professional development, sharing of experiences and further development of cooperation on education for Christian independent schools.

– There are many differences between NLA University College's teacher education (LU) and Driestar, both in terms of organisation and objectives in meeting the school sector, says the head of LU, Knut Holter. – At the same time, we see great opportunities for research collaboration and more general exchange of experiences, he adds.

Researchers from Driestar and NLA collaborated to explore opportunities for joint research and development projects, based on Christian teacher education and the role of the school in Norway.
