Democratic Criteria and the Shrinking Religious Freedom in Sweden
In this talk professor Clemens Cavallin will discuss the present formulation
and implementation in Sweden of democratic criteria for government
funding to organizations and activities in civil society, including religious
organizations, but also schools. The focus of the talk is on the potential
consequences of such criteria, in combination with a stricter formulation
and application of the requirement of non-confessionality, especially for
schools and preschools with religious profiles.
