Theological pedagogies in times of crisis
Theology explores and investigates the presence of God in (biblical) texts, traditions and (contemporary) experiences. This chapter positions this book as the second major contribution to the conversation on teaching and learning theology in times of crisis. It is a product of a collaborative research project between Norsk Lærerakademi (NLA) University College in Norway and the Faculty of Theology at Stellenbosch University (SU) in South Africa. The aim of the project is to address theology’s response to three key crises in particular: The climate crisis, the challenge of youth citizenship and the church’s changed status in society.
