Tribe (Live) - Single by HAVA
“Tribe” (2024) is an original composition by Hanne Vatnøy (HAVA), who authored the lyrics and melody, contributed as co-producer, performed piano, and released the work independently on her own label, Hava Music. This live version, featuring Elin Sofye, represents a reinterpretation of the original piece within a contemporary pop framework.
The work explores vocal interaction, identity, and expressive variation through a soundscape centered on vocals and keyboard-based instrumentation, with a strong topline. Thematically, it addresses resilience, solidarity, and the articulation of personal values, developed through an iterative creative process, with hope as a central underlying element.
